Youth Empowerment Crime Diversion Scheme
Youth Empowerment Crime Diversion Scheme Ltd is a registered charity and ‘not for profit’ limited company managed by an experienced Board of Trustees. We operate in the South East region. The scheme has two main charitable aims; to promote a positive change in the attitudes of young people which supports a reduction in offending and anti-social behaviour. Further, to support the process of rehabilitation and resettlement of ex-offenders by offering employment and training opportunities to deliver Youth Empowerment interventions.
The Youth Empowerment Crime Diversion Scheme is an outstanding organisation which delivers unique interventions to young people identified at risk of offending or with an offending history. All our interventions are specifically designed and written by our team and are based on Cognitive Behavioural Techniques (CBT), personal experience and ‘what works’ research. The programmes are delivered by ex-offenders who are fully trained and experienced in working with young people. This creates high levels of identification and engagement from some of the most challenging and hard-to-reach groups of young people. We aim to divert young people from crime by empowering them to explore social responsibilities and lifestyle choices.
The Youth Empowerment Crime Diversion Scheme has developed a substantial client base including Police Groups, Youth Offending Teams, Schools and Alternative Education Programmes.
